Fortunately, FPE transformer replacement is much easier than trying to change out an entire lineup. Replacement transformers can be any brand or any condition. If the transformer you're trying to replace is in an existing enclosure or indoors, all you have to do is match the existing transformer's footprint. If the transformer is standalone, its even easier.

Unfortunately, production lead times on new transfomers can be as long as 30-40 weeks from the time of order. However, I have found a company called Sunbelt Transformer is very helpful with shorter lead times than the major OEM's.
